cross-reference any two variables
Choose what to count, either the 42 local governments whose plans on antisemitism we collected or every document we saved from them, and then one variable for the rows and one for the columns. Each cell shows the number of places or documents with both values, and for places it names them. A link copied from the address bar opens the same table.
With 42 places, we count cases and do not test for statistical association. The Jewish population figures are of three kinds: census or national survey, survey estimate, and community membership. A membership count is usually smaller than the number of people who would call themselves Jewish, so the tables of Jewish share place membership figures in a separate row.
We counted the word rates in each place's latest plan on antisemitism, or in its latest wider plan when it has none, as on the Word profiles page. The definitions named are those named anywhere in the place's own saved documents. The council decision on the IHRA definition is the latest dated one on the IHRA adoptions page. All columns are in explore_places.csv.
